Building on its longstanding ties with the Center for Family and Demographic Research (CFDR) at Bowling Green State University, IPR joined CFDR to launch the Ohio Population Consortium (OPC). 

The mission of the Ohio Population Consortium is to create a cohesive community of population scientists, catalyzing multidisciplinary population dynamics research.

OPC is an exciting initiative bringing together two successful and impactful population dynamics research centers. It provides a cost-efficient, shared infrastructure designed to expand affiliate research networks and access to resources across the two campuses. 

This partnership jump-starts innovative, multidisciplinary population science and provides the material and intellectual support to nurture and grow new collaborations. By increasing scientific impact, innovation, and productivity in a cost-efficient manner, OPC embodies the next frontier of population dynamics research centers.

OPC is led by Susan L. Brown at Bowling Green State University and Sarah R. Hayford at The Ohio State University.
