The Center for Aging Families is a tri-university collaboration of more than 50 social science and medical scholars from Ohio State, Bowling Green State, and Purdue universities. The center elevates these institutions as national leaders of research at the intersection of family life, health, and aging in the U.S. It aims to generate insights that will help policymakers, healthcare providers, and community leaders strengthen families and improve quality of life for aging Americans.
The Ohio Population Consortium (OPC) is an exciting initiative bringing together the Center for Family and Demographic Research at Bowling Green State University and the Institute for Population Research at The Ohio State University. This partnership jump-starts innovative, multidisciplinary population science and supports new collaborations. By increasing scientific impact and productivity in a cost-efficient manner, OPC embodies the next frontier of population dynamics research centers.
Affiliate Spotlight: Arbor Quist
Dr. Arbor Quist is an assistant professor in epidemiology in the College of Public Health. Her research focuses on how pollution and environmental disasters influence population health.
