Ohio State University joins Federal Statistical Research Data Center Consortium
The Ohio State University collaborated with the University of Kentucky, Indiana University, University of Cincinnati, and University of Louisville to establish a Federal Statistical Research Data Center at the University of Kentucky (KRDC). Formerly known as “Census Research Data Centers” the center provides researchers access to federal agency data that include more details than are available in the public use versions of the data sets. Interested researchers can see a list of available data (Datalist.pdf).
Apply to get permission to access data through the KRDC
OSU faculty and graduate students may use the KRDC at no additional charge (researchers from non consortium institutions must pay an extra fee). In addition, for researchers who get permission to use the KRDC, IPR offers small grants to cover travel and housing costs for research trips to Lexington. To start the process of applying to get permission to access the data, visit the site.
