Please join us on Tuesday, August 30th for a special IPR seminar presented by Ohio State’s executive vice president and provost, Dr. Melissa L. Gilliam. Her talk is titled “Designing for Adolescent Health and Wellbeing”. The talk begins at 3:30pm and there is a catered reception to follow.
Dr. Gilliam conducts domestic and international research, addressing adolescent health and education using technology, design, and narrative. Her research is funded by the National Institutes of Health, The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, The Ford Foundation, and others. Dr. Gilliam is a member of the National Academy of Medicine. This special event is sponsored by the Institute for Population Research and is co-sponsored by the Division of Epidemiology (College of Public Health), the College of Social Work, and the Department of Sociology (College of Arts and Sciences).
This is the first seminar of the fall semester; subsequent seminars are on Tuesdays at 12:30 in Townshend Hall 038. The full semester schedule is online.
