Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

PhD student in Geography Anisa Kline (Kendra McSweeney, advisor) is the lead author on a new Ohio Commission on Hispanic/Latino Affairs report "Latino H2A Workers and Their Importance for Ohio's Agricultural Industries" on seasonal agricultural workers in the state, and how farm operators across Ohio are increasingly turning to the H-2A visa program to solve their labor needs.
