Arts and Sciences Faculty Selected AAAS Fellows

Seventeen faculty members from the College of Arts and Sciences have been elected Fellows of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), the world’s largest general scientific society. They will be welcomed in a ceremony at AAAS’ annual meeting in February 2012. This year’s class of AAAS Fellows from the College of Arts and Sciences includes:

David Bisaro, professor of molecular genetics; plant pathology; and molecular virology, immunology and medical genetics
Peter Culicover, professor of linguistics
Joseph Heremans, professor of physics and Ohio Eminent Scholar in Engineering
Tin-Lun (Jason) Ho, professor of physics
Anne McCoy, professor of chemistry
T.V. RajanBabu, professor of chemistry
Randolph Roth, professor of history
Kristen Sellgren, professor emerita of astronomy
C.K. Shum, professor of earth sciences
Amanda Simcox, professor of molecular genetics
