Patricia Pittman received the Outstanding Dissertation Award for the Department of Human Sciences. This award is given to students in recognition of a dissertation that represents exceptional research and scholarship and makes a significant contribution to research in their chosen discipline. Her dissertation was titled, "Interracial Couples’ Psychological Well-being and Relationship Outcomes in the Context of Discrimination." 

Patricia's advisor is IPR-Affiliated Faculty member Allen Mallory.
