Ohio State researcher Elisabeth Dowling Root uses her background in public health and geography and expertise in data analysis to analyze the factors that influence children’s health. Root conducts her research as a part of Translational Data Analytics @ Ohio State, which provides accessibility and integration of the university's data analytics assets and expertise, transforming how the university works with industry and community partners to co-develop big data solutions and prepare tomorrow’s data analytics workforce.
