The social acceptance and support for same-sex couples has skyrocketed such that the majority of Americans support same-sex marriage, and the legal system has been transformed with the U.S. Supreme Court decision supporting marriage equality. While these changes have been rapidly underway there has been growing scholarly attention to the well-being of children and adults in same-sex parent families. Dr. Manning will review recent research on child and adult well-being as well as new findings related to the relationship stability of same-sex couples. Concluding comments will focus on challenges and opportunities for new research on same-sex relationships in the United States.   038 Townshend Hall Institute for Population Research popcenter@osu.edu America/New_York public
