This presentation will provide an overview of recent developments at the National Institutes of Health, including both scientific changes and changes to administrative processes.
We will discuss changes in the scope of research funded by NIH and their implications for social science research; changes in international research; changes to the composition of review panels; changes in how scoring and funding decisions are made; and changes to administrative forms and requirements such as the biosketch, data sharing and management plans, and research sharing.
This discussion will be relevant for graduate students, postdocs, faculty, and research scientists and will touch on F- and K-series training grants as well as R-series research grants. There will be time for questions at the end of the presentation.
