"Improving the health of those most vulnerable: Addressing substance use and infectious diseases"
Dr. Kathryn Lancaster is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Epidemiology in the College of Public Health at The Ohio State University. As an infectious disease epidemiologist, she is passionate about addressing the burden of substance use and HIV/STI among key populations in the United States and globally. This talk will focus on sociocontextual, cultural, and behavioral determinants of substance use and HIV, and the implementation of interventions to reduce substance use and HIV among vulnerable populations in low resource settings globally.
