Stan is a powerful platform for Bayesian statistical modeling including, but not limited to, hierarchical (or multilevel) modeling. During this session, we introduce the companion R package, RStan, which provides an interface to Stan with the power of summarizing, plotting, and exporting your results with the familiar R tools you know and love.
