Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

"Intergenerational linkages, interdisciplinary collaborations and interesting findings from 50 years of the NLS."

April 11th 2016 marks the 50th anniversary of the very first interview with an NLS respondent.  Since that date, close to 54,000 respondents have been interviewed and approximately 730,000 NLS interviews conducted. In this talk Dr. Cooksey will provide an overview of the NLS program as a whole, highlight some of the innovations of design that have occurred over the years that make these data unique, and give a flavor of the breadth of studies that have been done on a vast number of topics and by researchers from many different disciplinary backgrounds.  Hopefully she will whet your appetite to delve into these rich data sources if you haven't already!
