The Institute for Population Research (IPR) was established in 2000 to build a multidisciplinary population and health research center at Ohio State University.
IPR's growth since 2006 has accelerated thanks to funds from the OSU Population and Health Targeted Investment in Excellence (TIE).
More recently, IPR received a five-year $2.2 million center grant from the National Institutes of Health (R24-HD058484). IPR is now recognized nationally as a premier population research center.
