Youngberg Trustees Distinguished Professor in the Department of Economics, has been named one of “40 Influential Black Economists From the Last 30 Years” by Academic Influence. The website's machine-powered Influence Ranking algorithm searches citations, media mentions and social media influence to determine who belongs on the list, regardless if they are contemporary scholars or historical figures.
