Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. Seed grants are awarded to support population-related research that has the potential to receive external funding, with a high priority given to research that falls under the purview of the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development’s Population Dynamics Branch. Funds can be used for data collection and acquisition, graduate research assistant support, software and equipment, limited faculty salaries, and other research expenses. Seed grants can be up to $40,000 for small grants (1 year) or $80,0000 for large grants (2 years, multi-investigator teams). Details on the application and review process, along with application forms, are available on IPR’s website
