IPR is hiring research assistants (grad or undergrad)!

The Institute for Population Research is looking to hire several OSU students to assist with qualitative data analysis for a Gates Foundation funded project focused on fertility desires and contraception use in sub-Saharan Africa. The primary duties will involve:
- coding of interview transcripts
- analysis of interview transcripts
- participation in weekly meetings with project team
- other duties as assigned
Both undergraduate and graduate students are eligible. Undergraduate students will be hired at an hourly rate, while graduate students will be hired as a supplemental graduate appointment.
Required Qualifications
- Prior coursework/training in qualitative research methods
- Interest in sexual and reproductive health/global health
- Ability to work independently with appropriate guidance
- Ability to meet deadlines while paying attention to detail
Desired Qualifications
- Enrolled in a graduate program at OSU
- Prior experience in qualitative data analysis outside the classroom
- Proficient in using NVivo
