R Workshop: Maximum Likelihood with R

For this week, we will explore maximum likelihood estimation in R.  The material will help you become familiar with creating and maximizing functions in R, and it will teach you about R’s tools for working with statistical distributions.  This session will be particularly useful for a subsequent session introducing Bayesian analysis in R.
