We draw upon harmonized county-level data (1970-2018) for hurricane impacts, population change, and economic growth for the U.S. and apply difference in difference approaches to assess the impacts. We conduct several robustness checks and find strong support for our hypotheses.   Please note that February 2022 seminars will only be offered in a virtual format.  A reminder that all participants need to register in order to participate in the spring seminar series.
