Title: The Longitudinal Vaping and Smoking Survey: Pilot Study Results
Abstract: We present data from a pilot survey called the “Longitudinal Vaping and Smoking Survey.” We fielded the survey to the online American Population Panel administered by OSU’s Center for Human Resources Research. We describe the pilot sample, data, and present preliminary analysis of consumption patterns. Our primary focus is on sex, age, and racial patterns of sole and dual use of cigarettes and e-cigarettes, with the eventual goal of estimating cross-price elasticities of substitution between cigarettes and e-cigarettes.
