The Center for Aging Families’ Mentorship Development Series is designed to support faculty in becoming more effective mentors for early career scholars, including both junior faculty and graduate students. Jaqueline Angel, the opening speaker, is a professor of sociology and public affairs at The University of Texas at Austin and has received mentoring awards from both American Sociological Association’s Section on Aging and the Life Course and the Gerontological Society of America.
