"The American Population Panel (APP) at the Five-Year Mark: The CHRR’s Exceptional Tool for Survey Scientists"
The American Population Panel (APP), part of the portfolio of special projects administered by CHRR, recently celebrated its fifth birthday. The APP represents a group of 45,000+ volunteer members who agree to participate in social science and health related studies for research purposes. The APP has been used in a growing number of research projects that cover behaviors, attitudes, and opinions on topics as varied as youth sports, higher education, fatherhood, the impact of Covid-19, in vitro fertilization, and social justice issues. CHRR’s Jen Hoffman and Elizabeth Cooksey will present information on the APP geared toward faculty, student, and staff researchers who are interested in a cost-effective way to fine tune their surveys and access survey respondents.
