Add to Calendar 2016-10-11 12:30:00 2016-10-11 13:30:00 IPR Seminar, Dr. Sarah Anderson, Associate Professor, Epidemiology, CPH, Ohio State A Tale of 2 birth cohorts: UK MIllennium Cohort Study and Growing UP in New ZealandDrawing upon experience working with researchers at University College London and the University of Auckland while on sabbatical last year (2015/2016), this presentation will overview the design of two large-scale longitudinal birth cohort studies of children born since 2000 -- the UK Millennium Cohort Study (~18,000 children in the UK) and the Growing Up in New Zealand Study (~7000 pregnant mothers and their children born 2009-2010 in NZ). Opportunitites for researchers interested in questions that can be addressed using data from these studies will be discussed.Dr Anderson's areas of expertise include: epidemiology, survey methodology, child development, obesity.
