  • Current Research: an NSF and Upjohn Institute for Employment Research supported project on the socio-demographic and structural causes of race-gender group market inequality, specifically analyzing the process by which workers are matched to positions, how this process differentially allocates race-sex groups across positions, the consequences of this matching for earnings gaps, and how these processes have changed between 1980 and 1990. Collaborative research projects on wealth inequality among race-ethnic groups and on race-ethnic differences in home equity.
