RIP: Larry Brown, Distinguished Univesity Professor of Geography and IPR Faculty Affiliate
Larry Brown passed away on Sunday April 6, less than two weeks after he suffered a sudden stroke.
His many contributions to Ohio State, and his distinguished career in Geography, are described in the ASC announcement (link below).
To this I will add that Larry was a good and loyal friend of IPR, and was instrumental in the establishment of IPR in 2001. The productive connections between IPR and Geography owe much to Larry’s influence. He leaves a lasting imprint on IPR.
