Janet Box-Steffensmeier, Vernal Riffe Professor of Political Science and divisional dean, social and behavioral sciences, will receive the Outstanding Professional Achievement award from the Midwest Political Science Association (MPSA) Women’s Caucus. As part of this award, the MPSA will host a roundtable honoring Box-Steffensmeier and celebrating her important contributions to the discipline and the profession. She served as president-elect, president and immediate past-president of the MPSA, 2011-2013.
